Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: October 25, 2026
Outvia is built for relevant, honest, one-to-one style business outreach. It is not a tool for spam. This policy sets the rules for every email sent through Outvia and is part of our Terms of Service.
1. Every email must be legal
You must follow the anti-spam and privacy laws that apply to you and your recipients. In the United States, CAN-SPAM requires you to:
- Use accurate "From", "Reply-To", and routing information that identifies you or your business.
- Use subject lines that honestly reflect the content of the email.
- Identify the message as an advertisement where the law requires it.
- Include a valid physical postal address for your business in every commercial email.
- Give recipients a clear way to opt out, and honor opt-outs within 10 business days. Outvia adds an unsubscribe link and a one-click unsubscribe header to campaign emails and suppresses unsubscribed contacts automatically. Do not remove or hide them.
- Stay responsible for anyone you hire to send email on your behalf.
If you email people in the EU, UK, Canada, or other regions, you must also meet those rules, for example GDPR legitimate interest requirements, ePrivacy and PECR consent rules, and CASL consent and identification requirements. Some countries require prior consent for any commercial email.
2. Who you may contact
- Business contacts where your message is relevant to their role or company.
- People whose contact data you collected lawfully and can explain the source of.
- Never people who have unsubscribed from you or asked you to stop, on any channel.
3. Prohibited uses
You may not use Outvia to:
- Send bulk unsolicited email to consumers or to purchased, rented, scraped, or shared lists that you cannot show were lawfully obtained.
- Email addresses harvested from websites, guessed with dictionary attacks, or generated randomly.
- Send phishing, malware, deceptive links, or content that impersonates another person, brand, or organization.
- Promote illegal goods or services, adult content, gambling, weapons, controlled substances, get-rich-quick or pyramid schemes, debt relief or credit repair scams, or misleading health or financial claims.
- Harass, threaten, or discriminate against anyone, or send hateful or abusive content.
- Use false or misleading headers, spoof domains you do not control, or rotate domains or mailboxes to evade filtering, complaints, or blocks.
- Connect sending accounts or domains you do not own or are not authorized to use.
- Violate the terms of your email provider, such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Zoho, or Resend.
- Resell, sublicense, or share access to Outvia without our written agreement.
- Probe, overload, reverse engineer, or interfere with the service or other customers.
4. Sending health
Keep your sending healthy. Respect the daily and hourly limits you set and those of your provider, warm up new domains gradually, and remove contacts that bounce. We may pause campaigns or sending accounts that show high bounce rates, spam complaints, or blocklist activity, and we may ask you to explain your list source.
5. Enforcement and reporting
If we believe a workspace violates this policy, we may pause campaigns, disable sending accounts, or suspend or close the account, with or without notice depending on the risk. Serious or repeated violations lead to permanent termination without refund.
To report abuse or an email sent through Outvia, email hello@getoutvia.com with the message headers if you can. See our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy for more.
